About Callanach

Callanach is a dynamic five piece Celtic Rock band from Rochester, NY. A group of best friends, they provide a unique energy and stage presence, as well as a crowd-pleasing blend of traditional Celtic music along with a rock and pop flair.

Started in February 2010, band members include Marissa Ruper (fiddle, vocals), Ryan Rovito (lead vocals, guitar, banjo, bodhran), Abe Ruper (electric guitar, vocals), Jim McGowan (drums, keys, vocals), and Aaron Powell (vocals, bass).
